PSYCHIATRIC PROVIDERS AT AMP

Tara Fischer graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation, in 2014 she relocated back home to Florida to begin her nursing career at an acute adult/geriatric inpatient psychiatric unit in Miami, Florida.  Tara worked at this private facility for five years.  While working full time as a registered nurse, she attended Florida International University where Tara obtained her Masters in Nursing. She is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

Tara whole heartedly believes that her professional experience, empathy and listening skills are what helps her work with her patients to make a positive impact in their lives. She is forever grateful for the opportunity to work with her patients on their journey to better mental health. Tara enjoys spending time with family, friends and her French bulldog Valentino.
